Cancer is one of the most researched and highly debated topic - even then there are facts that you may not know about cancer. What makes cancer stand out is its classification, as cancer is not just a single disease, it's a group of diseases. Not Contagious

One of the leading misconceptions about cancer is that it is contagious. We are happy to announce that cancer is not contagious. Meaning having sex, kissing, sharing meals, or taking part in any couple experience, or even sharing the same air will not transfer cancerous cells. However, the only way one transfers cancer to another being is through mother-to-fetus transmission and organ transplant.

Understanding Tumors

A tumor is caused when an abnormal growth of cells or lump forms in an area of your body. However, when the cells found in the lump or cyst are normal it is considered to be a benign tumor (harmless). However, a malignant tumor carries cancer and can grow faster than a wildfire.
